Thrift Haul

Clockwise from top left: 90s Ann Taylor Mesh overlay Bodycon dress,
Limited screened American Apparel tee,
Vintage Espadrilles tennis shoes,
70s Velvet jumper dress,
Men's Gap flannel, and
Suede Tassel Crossbody purse

I got all these goodies for around $20 between the two Salvation Armies in Erie. The piece that cost the most is the bag because for some reason the stores are changing their policy on Wednesday sale day to exclude accessories. l a m e

Come what may

Another trip to the Peach Street Salvation Army. This time I was trying to leave with nothing and luckily most of what I found was either too big or more money than I wanted to spend. Here are a few of the cool things I saw.

Winterlude

So if you haven't noticed, it snowed a whole bunch, causing my current dilemma of deciding on an appropriate winter boot. The last couple of years, I was only briefly in the snow on holiday and got by using polyurethane booties because they were cheap and reasonable cute. Now that I'm here to stay, I want something with a little more quality. One necessity is a good tread and I prefer natural material. I made the dive and got a pair of Dr. Martens 1460. They are really rugged, but now that the snow is so unavoidable at this point, I'm afraid the leather will get ruined from the weather and salt. I'm just going to treat them, wear them on rotation, and see how it goes. Fingers crossed.
